GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Nestled above the cliffs of Alma in a natural forest setting overlooking the Bay of Fundy, Cliffside is located within walking distance of the Village of Alma and the entrance of Fundy National Park. We offer a choice of three luxurious, well appointed, private suites, and two 3 bedroom cottages - all with a magnificent view of the bay.

Hiking, kayaking, birdwatching, golf and more ... Choose from a range of activities which explore our rich natural and cultural heritage. Important efforts are now underway to have the entire Bay of Fundy region, with its great variety of natural phenomena, recognized and protected as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Our desire is to protect the biodiversity and health of the Bay of Fundy in concert with the development of economic activity. Some of the activities which you can enjoy during your stay: Hiking in Fundy National Park and along the Trans Canada Trail Interpretive tours in Fundy Park Kayaking Birdwatching - the region is home to numerous species including Bald Eagles, Peregrine Falcons, Blue Herons, and several species of migratory birds which stop by on our shores Lobster boat tours of the bay in July and August Golf, swimming, and canoeing in Fundy Park Visiting galleries and artisan studios in the region Photography, beachcombing, watching the impressive tides and even Weather watching - wind storms, breaking waves, spectacular sunsets and amazing fog formations. Cliffside is also a wonderful retreat - get away from it all, just relax and read a book.
