GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Ingonish is a village of around 2,000 people... one of Cape Breton's famous fishing and resort areas along the Cabot Trail. For many years it has been a tourist destination for travellers. Our community is surrounded by the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The park provides beautiful trails and beaches. The village has post offices, restaurants, whale watches, world class golf course, Bank of Nava Scotia, liquor store, corner and hardward stores, police detachment, hospital and pharmacy all within 10 km (6 miles) of my cottages.
