| GENERAL DESCRIPTION |
We're a third generation family business in operation since 1949. We are located just 6 1/2 hours drive north of Winnipeg or you can reach us by daily commercial airline service from Winnipeg to The Pas Airport. Our eleven spotless cabins are fully modern with well equipped kitchens. We offer boat rentals and guide service. Clearwater Lake is an astonishing sight - crystal clear blue water with visibility to depths of 30 feet. Our season begins in mid-May with black bear hunting from baited stands for both rifle and bow hunters. June follows with excellent fishing for lake trout and northern pike which continues into July and August when we offer a weekly family rate. We also travel to other nearby lakes for walleye, rainbow trout and smallmouth bass. Our comfortable log cabin outcamp at Heming Lake, accessible by air or rail, provides access to a chain of three lakes. We offer day-use trips to two other lakes which are accessible only by float plane. Angling for walleye and northern pike is nothing short of spectacular on the entire chain of these five lakes.
During our fall season, you will experience both terrific fishing and some of the best waterfowl hunting in Western Canada. Our fall bear hunts provide the added bonus of angling for Trophy Lake Trout or Monster Northern Pike!
We have three fully winterized log cabins which we open up for March & April ice-fishing. Our wood heated fishing huts will make for a cozy day out on the lake. Groomed snowmobile trails leave from our doorstep and link up with Flin Flon to the north. Clean, comfortable accommodation, consistently good fishing for a wide variety of species along with waterfowl and black bear hunting that ranks with the best - all these you?ll find at |

| FACILITIES DESCRIPTION |
Clearwater Adventures and Family Fun Clearwater Lake offers the clearest, cleanest water possible for you and your family to enjoy a variety of water sports. Our shoreline is all sand and the sand extends out into the lake as far as you can walk. The lake bottom is smoothly sloped with no drop-offs and the water behind the dock is so shallow that it is a perfect play spot for tots. Swimming, water-skiing and fishing can all be enjoyed in July and August during which time we offer weekly rates for families. The crystal clear water is perfect for scuba diving as it is possible to see for up to 30 feet under the water. We also have canoes and a wind-surfer for rent. A recent and very popular addition is our new games room complete with huge hot tub, pool table, shuffleboard, darts, TV, VCR and fireplace.

We operate a remote canoe base at Heming Lake, 70 air miles north of our Lodge on Clearwater Lake. The camp consists of two log cabins nestled on the shoreline of Heming Lake. It is a beautiful, relaxing spot to spend a few days before starting out on the Separation Creek or Grass River canoe routes. For the wildlife photographer or the naturalist, there is good opportunity to see woodland caribou, moose and black bears as well as bald eagles, loons and many species of ducks. Should you want to make our Heming Lake camp your base for a longer stay, you will find plenty to explore as Heming Lake offers access to Home Lake, Demarch Lake and two other unnamed lakes. During July and August, we offer a special 5-night family rate, so why not introduce your children to the adventure and solitude of our Manitoba North. Since Heming Lake is accessible by rail as well as air, it is possible for you to travel into this remote spot for a very reasonable transportation cost. |
